PALLIATIVE CARE

Dealing with a palliative diagnoses and the challenges ahead can be overwhelming. You may want to achieve a  'bucket list', or maybe being comfortable at home is what is important to you. We recognise the need to continue having a role and maintaining your independence and we can help you achieve this and be your advocate.

HOME & BATHING EQUIPMENT

Whether it is difficulty getting washed and dressed, or preparing a meal, there is vast array of equipment which is available. We can assist with sourcing the most appropriate solutions for you.

EXERCISE CLASSES

Group or 1:1 exercise classes for general fitness or targeted for issues such as reduced balance. We run several 'Move It Or Lose It' Classes which target Flexibility, Aerobic, Balance & Strength.

SEATING ASSESSMENTS

Getting comfortable seating which is easy to get up from but also provides the right support and pressure relief can be difficult. We can help guide you through.

MOVING & HANDLING

As people become more dependent on assistance to move from A to B, it is important that the right handing techniques are used to maximise independence whilst ensuring the safety of the individual and their carers. We can provide an individualised assessment to look at alternative equipment taking into account the individual and their environment.

RISK ASSESSMENTS

Taking the responsibility for your loved one or service user’s safety, can be challenging. If there are safety concerns regarding living independently at home, accessing the community or engaging in daily activities, we can provide assessment and specialist advice.

STROKE REHABILITATION

Following a stroke, people often struggle with their movement, use of their arms and legs which prevents from engaging with daily activities.

FOOT HEALTH CARE

Offering assessments and treatments for foot health care, including corn and callus removal, routine maintenance and diabetic foot care

MOBILITY ASSESSMENTS

Getting safely around your home and out and about in the community is so important. We can help to identify the issues affecting your mobility and provide the interventions and solutions to improve them.

POST HOSPITAL STAY REHABILITATION

Whether you have been in hospital and feel you have lost your independence, or have undergone surgery and are now struggling with every day activities, we can provide personalised one to one rehabilitation packages.

NUTRITION

Nutritional assessments, counselling & meal plans by a qualified, registered Dietitian. Providing nutritional care for those diagnosed with a medical condition such as Diabetes, Coeliac, Crohns disease, COPD, Cardiovascular disease as well as nutrition for older adults and those with dementia. 

FALLS PREVENTION

The aftermath or fear of falling to individuals, relatives and care providers alike can really limit people’s independence and confidence. We provide comprehensive assessments of your home and physical ability to provide solutions to optimise your safety and keep you moving safely.

FATIGUE MANAGEMENT

Fatigue can affect people for many different reasons throughout their life. We can provide you with the skills and tools to manage your symptoms to improve your quality of life and maximise your activity levels

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Specialist massage techniques can be used to address symptoms of pain, muscle spasm, oedema (swelling) and reduced movement. The power of touch can be really meaningful for those with a terminal illness or in their later life.
